I had earlier suggested that Putin might have a hand in the terrorist Hamas unprecedented attack on Israel, because no country could benefit from the distraction the ongoing war brings than Putin as he would hope to capitalise on the West's divided attention to ramp up his stuttering and illegitimate war against Ukraine. This is already happening, as the Russian orcs have sent in thousands of troops to Avdiivka with an intention to blockade that city.
Putin who invaded Ukraine without a single shot fired by that country against his country is now speaking out against Israel who is responding to an unprovoked massacre and kidnapping of her civilians and soldiers and the breaching of her territorial integrity by a known terrorist organisation. Nothing can be more hypocritical.
The bloodthirsty Russian despot is currently being investigated by the International Court of Justice over numerous humanitarian atrocities he perpetrated against innocent Ukrainians in pursuit of his cruel ambition to dominate a sovereign nation, is today calling on Isreal to observe rules of war and protect civilians. Unfortunately, there are people who are listening to him and even taking him seriously.
Since 2014, Putin has constantly supervised an unprovoked incursion into Ukrainian territory and the decimation of her citizens and infrastructure. We cannot forget the grisly pictures in Mariupol, Izium, Bakhmut and many other cities in Ukraine which his Army literally leveled to the ground and literally butchered their population. Do we talk about the forceful abduction of children to Russia, without their parents or illegal annexations of sovereign territories of Ukraine?
But, instead of hiding his face in shame or taking his own life in guilt, Putin is about the place seeking to benefit from another human tragedy, which he probably funded or directed. Unfortunately, Hamas and ordinary Palestinians are mere canon fodders for Putin and other rogues like Ebrahim Raisi, because while they give themselves out to be killed and their settlement possibly obliterated, Putin is popping champagne and hiding in one of the world's most fortified safe homes.
He has his allies, and we can understand with his allies to whom, whatever happens is just politics and their own way of seeking to get even with the US and the Western alliance, but there is no better way to view the ordinary Palestinians and other people who hail Putin and his murderous gang of terrorists, but with sympathy, for their failure to know who their true enemies are.
Israel has done more to protect the Palestinian civilian population than Putin and even Hamas themselves, but it is in human nature to sometimes align with their oppressors and hate their liberators, so I am not surprised but rather amused that those who claim to sympathize with Palestinians are applauding Putin, instead of calling for his public guillotining.
