Former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, MFR, has extended a heartfelt Good Friday message to the good people of Owerri Zone, urging them to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, unity, and compassion that defines the solemn Christian observance.

In his message released on Friday, Prince Madumere described Good Friday as a sacred moment for reflection, reminding Christians of the ultimate sacrifice made out of love for humanity. He encouraged families and communities across the zone to use the occasion to renew their commitment to peace, kindness, and mutual support.

Addressing residents of the zone, Madumere said the season should inspire people to care more deeply for one another and work collectively toward the progress and harmony of their communities.

“On this sacred day of sacrifice and love, may the spirit of Good Friday fill every home with peace, hope, and renewed strength,” he said.

The former deputy governor noted that the message of Good Friday goes beyond religious observance, stressing that its lessons of compassion, selflessness, and redemption remain vital in building a stronger and more united society.

He further encouraged the people of Owerri Zone not to lose hope in the face of challenges, adding that the season serves as a powerful reminder that difficult moments are often followed by renewal and brighter days.

Madumere prayed for God’s grace and blessings upon families across the zone, wishing them peace and spiritual upliftment during the Easter season.

“May this season remind us that even in moments of challenge, there is always the promise of light and new beginnings,” he added.

He concluded by wishing the people of Owerri Zone and their loved ones continued grace, blessings, and peaceful hearts as they commemorate the solemn day.
