Speaking at the NASS Open Week, Rt. Hon. Nwawuba highlighted key achievements of the library within the last two years:

1. Over 1,000,000 online library visitors every week
2. 20,000 media subscribers
3. Combined social media reach exceeding 1.5 million Nigerians and a global audience
4. 8,534 legislative materials digitized to preserve valuable parliamentary resources
5. Over 7,000 library resources available to researchers, legislators, and visitors
6. 3,100 visitors hosted at the library
7. Nearly 1,000 active users on the Bill Tracker platform
8. 535,928 physical library visitors from Nigeria and beyond
9. Over 100 policy research papers published
10. Over 100 medium artefacts archived

Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, a two-term member of the House of Representatives, noted that NALTF has created a vital platform for both national and international researchers to access critical information and documentary resources.
He explained that the digitization drive has made it easier for Nigerians in the diaspora and students across the country to access parliamentary records without physical barriers. This, he said, is in line with the National Assembly’s goal of promoting transparency and open governance.
The former lawmaker further stated that the Library is now positioned as a knowledge hub that supports evidence-based lawmaking. By providing timely research, policy papers, and legislative data, NALTF is helping legislators make informed decisions that directly impact the lives of citizens.
He added that the library’s expansion under his watch reflects a commitment to transparency, knowledge sharing, and strengthening legislative support services for Nigerians.
