Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State yesterday Sunday the 24th of September 2023, celebrated the former Secretary to the Government, Sir Jude Ejiogu, who threw a party at his hometown in Umuakuru, Emekuku in Owerri North Local Government Area to celebrate his birthday.
Uzodimma who was harping on the need for leaders and people of Owerri zone to embrace the Charter of Equity, pointed out that Sir Jude Ejiogu was successful in politics because he is pragmatic.
Uzodimma also urged Owerri zone to help him to help them by keying into the Charter of Equity to ensure proper rotation of power amongst the three senatorial zones in the state is maintained.
Sir Jude Ejiogu was a Governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress APC during the 2019 General Elections and a strong pillar of the party in the state.
A former banker and finance expert, Sir Jude Ejiogu was amongst those who spearheaded the liberation of Imo State from the family government former governor Rochas Okorocha was planning to turn the state into.
