...Vows to empower indigent people across the state

The Governor Hope Uzodimma led Shared Prosperity government in Imo State, has been lauded for the infrastructural development strides it has been able to achieve in the state.


This is coming as Anita Rajis Foundation has vowed to empower indigent people in Imo State


"The present government has shown some good and impressive wills through the quality of good road network witnessed in Owerri, Orlu, and Okigwe zones and other laudable projects spread across the state," Miss Anita Rajis, Founder of Anita Rajis Foundation stated.


Miss Rajis, a Human Rights consultant made the disclosure while speaking to journalists during a press briefing held in Owerri, on Thursday.


She revealed that the foundation had been in  existence for quite some time outside Imo state, "having seen the achievements of Governor Uzodimma in recent years, decided to bring our activities closer home so that Imolites can equally benefit from our social functions, contacts and engagements," she added.


Anita harped on the need for youths and vulnerable people to benefit from her foundation as a way to give back to society, more especially, Imo people as part of her contributions to her support of the present administration.


Speaking further, Anita stated, "Anita Rajis Foundation is a dedicated non-governmental organization committed to making positive impacts on the lives of those in need. Our mission is to provide developmental aid and support to the less privileged, ensuring access to basic necessities such as food and nourishment to those in need, while empowering individuals with the tools and knowledge they need to create sustainable change.


"But we don't stop there - we believe that true change starts from within, that's the mind. That's why we also prioritize mindset development, changing old negative mindset, empowering individuals to unlock their full potentials and create a better future for themselves."


Rajis went to to add that, "Through our dedicated team of volunteers, community partnerships, and innovative programs, we strive to, not only fill empty stomachs but also foster personal growth and development among the youths."


She also commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for empowering 15,000 youths with laptops and cash donation through the Imo Skillup Program, saying, Anita Rajis Foundation would partner with the Shared Prosperity government towards bringing some of her initiatives for better result.


Anita urged Njaba and Imo people at large, to ensure they synergize with the government meaningfully towards sustainable change, pointing out that Governor Hope Uzodimma is committed to finding a lasting peace and poised to attract infrastructural developments in the state.
