The Chairman of the Imo Roads Maintenance Agency (IROMA), Hon. Barr. Kingsley Ononuju, has congratulated the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, on his emergence as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Orlu Zone Senate seat.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, Ononuju described the governor’s emergence as “well deserved,” noting that it reflects the confidence the party and the people continue to have in his leadership, political experience, and commitment to the development of Imo State.
According to the IROMA chairman, Governor Uzodinma’s previous tenure in the Senate was marked by quality representation, impactful legislation, and purposeful service to the people, leaving behind what he called a commendable legacy.
Ononuju stated that Uzodinma’s return to the Senate would go beyond representing Orlu Zone alone, stressing that the governor would serve as a voice for all Imo people.
“This time, Governor Hope Uzodinma is not going to the Senate for Orlu Zone alone. He is going there as a voice for Ndi Imo Nile — to represent the collective interests, aspirations, and development of the entire people of Imo State and by extension Nigeria,” he said.
The IROMA chairman also expressed confidence that the governor’s wealth of experience and leadership capacity would attract greater federal presence, infrastructural development, economic opportunities, and stronger representation for the state at the national level.
He called on APC faithful, supporters, and well-meaning Imo citizens to unite behind the governor and ensure his victory at the polls.
Ononuju further described the governor’s emergence as historic and deserving, congratulating him once again on securing the party’s ticket for the Orlu Senate race.
