As the 2027 Imo East Senatorial District (Owerri Zone) election continues to gather momentum, the Diaspora Community has unanimously called for a paradigm shift and resolved to support the candidacy of Prince Eze Madumere , the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Imo East Senatorial District, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
This was made known through a statement made available to newsmen by Ezenta Chibuike Ejimkonye.
"Following extensive consultations and deliberations among members across various countries, the diaspora body expressed confidence in Prince Madumere's leadership capacity, political experience, integrity and commitment to the development of Owerri Zone.
"Members noted that his distinguished record of public service, including his tenure as Deputy Governor of Imo State, positions him as the most credible and competent candidate to represent the interests of Owerri Zone at the National Assembly.
"The group emphasized that Owerri Zone deserves quality representation anchored on experience, accessibility, accountability and a clear vision for sustainable development."
They further stated that Prince Madumere possesses the necessary exposure, competence and grassroots connection required to effectively articulate and defend the interest of the people of Imo East Senatorial District.
The diaspora community therefore called on all sons and daughters of Owerri Zone, both at home and abroad, to unite behind Prince Eze Madumere's candidacy and work collectively towards ensuring his victory in the 2027 senatorial election.
"This endorsement reflects the shared conviction that Prince Eze Madumere's representation will bring renewed hope, inclusive development, youth empowerment, infrastructural advancement and effective legislative advocacy for the people of Owerri Zone.
"Together, we stand united in our resolve that come 2027, by the special Grace of God, , His Excellency, Prince Eze Madumere (MFR), the PDP candidate for Imo East Senatorial District, shall be elected to represent Owerri Zone in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria."
