A female student of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has stirred widespread reactions online after sharing a video she claims shows the moment she discovered her boyfriend in an intimate situation with her close friend.
According to the student’s account circulating on social media, the incident began when she informed her boyfriend that she intended to visit him at his residence. She alleged that the boyfriend told her he was out of town and had traveled to Benin City, suggesting he would not be available.
However, suspicious of the explanation, the student reportedly contacted a neighbor to confirm whether he was truly away. The neighbor allegedly contradicted the claim, telling her that her boyfriend had recently been seen entering the house with a female visitor believed to be her friend.
Concerned by the information, the student decided to go to the house herself.
Upon arrival, she said the apartment appeared unusually quiet. She then approached a window that had reportedly been left open and claimed she saw her boyfriend and the friend together inside the room.
The student said she discreetly recorded a video of what she saw before leaving the premises without confronting them.
In an emotional reaction posted online, the student expressed deep disappointment and betrayal, stating that she never expected such behavior from someone she considered a close friend. She also claimed she had supported the friend in the past by giving her clothes and other personal items.
The video and the accompanying story have since gone viral on social media, prompting intense conversations about trust, loyalty, and friendships among young people.
As of the time of filing this report, neither the boyfriend nor the friend mentioned in the allegation has publicly responded to the claims.
